Brother Keith Surface is pastor of Calvary Outreach’s Tabernacle in the Woods church, where, among other things, he leads singing, preaches, teaches, and writes the gospel. 

Being raised in a Christian home, Brother Keith, was always in regular church attendance, but as any truly born again Christian can tell you, being raised in church doesn’t save a person.  But thanks be to God, in January of 1984, at the age of 21, God did miraculously save him and shortly thereafter, baptized him with the Holy Ghost.  Almost immediately after he was saved, he began to work in the Lords business. Within six months he was leading song services, teaching, holding prayer meetings, working in building programs, and most anything else that he was called on to do.  Since that day in 1984 when God gloriously saved him, Brother Keith has never looked back.  In 1986, at the age of 23, about two years after He was saved, God called him to preach His gospel.  If you do the math, you will know as do I, that he’s been preaching the gospel now for over 30 years.

In the years since God saved him, Brother Keith has steadily grown in wisdom and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus, the Christ, as God has taught him and opened his understanding to the gospel.  A person of inquiring mind,  knowledgeable in the scriptures, and Holy Ghost led, Brother Keith is a true man of God.
